We enjoyed our stay here at a Primitive Site. It is a fine place for family camping. I really enjoyed The hiking trails, although I believe there is a sign on one that does not lead where it should. That added a few extra milked to our hike, but it was still fun. The onsite managers were very helpful (I can't emphasize that enough). My only complaints: knowing when the store would be open (posted hours didn't match actual hours) and the back of our site had plenty of old beer cans that had been there for some time. The were our of sight from where we spent most of it time, but still an eyesore when you do come upon them.

Beautiful park not too far from the big city. Inn and cabins are very clean and comfortable, but kinda dated. Restaurant has nice views of outdoors, limited hours. They have added some WiFi for the cabins and campground, so they’re trying. Staff friendly and helpful.
Oh yeah the service was excellent and the bathrooms very clean. Can't wait to go back! !
Just a beautiful park. Campground are great. Peaceful. We are staying in Site 14.Wow.Best site.Pull thru, huge.Scenery is amazing. Love this park. Will be back. Bathhouse was clean but shower curtains were dirty. Love this park. Will go back.
Love this park! It is truly a gem, and I am so glad to see that they are doing more to try and ensure it's financial viability! My 83 year old parents stayed in a nice, clean room with a very comfortable bed. We stayed with family in Chapel Hill. All of us enjoyed a visit with the Barred Owl that they are rehabbing. Nice place!
